This is the readme file for the final camera-ready copy for BMVC 2003

Step 1: Rename your paper: paperNNN.tex where NNN is your submission number. Thus submission number 11 should be
labelled paper011.tex. A consistent naming scheme makes editing the final proceedings easier.

Step 2: Make alterations and modifications as required in the referees' comments.

Step 3: Build your DVI file.

Step 4: Convert your DVI file into a PostScript file using dvi2ps. dvi2ps should be configured to download
all fonts. (In MikTex for example you should invoke dvips -P pdf -t A4 -z having previously
set dvipsDownloadBase35 true and pdftexDownloadBase14 true in updmap.cfg).

Step 5: Place the Distiller Job Options file "Page Bros.joboptions" into your distiller settings directory
(/Adobe/Acrobat 5.0/Distillr/Settings/ is a common location)

Step 6: Distill your Postscript to PDF and check for errors. The Page Bros Job options file is configured to
fail if there are any errors. If you decide to overide this behaviour (available as the "When Embedding Fails"
menu) then it will mean that our printer will substitute fonts in place of the ones you chose. We might guess
lucky but we might not so we encourage you to produce PDF without embedding errors.

Step 7: Optional: check your PDF using a PDF parser such as FlightCheck.

Step 8: Submit to BMVC - don't forget to check the titles and abstracts match and that you have chosen appropriate
keywords (we shall use these to construct the index).

If you do not have a copy of distiller then you may submit Postscript but this is more risky because we may
not have time to correct any font substitution errors. If you do submit postscript please firstly make sure
that your contact details on the website are uptodate and also be prepared to give us LaTeX as we may need to build
it on your behalf.
